Your welder choice depends on , what you want to do.
If all you want to do is buzz in some light  18/22 ga sheet metal . A 110v
Mig 90a with a gas option . Would fit the bill.  but for more deversity a
110 or 135 amp unit , is in order. The 110v  give it flexability in where
you use it.

The 220v units seem to start off in amp and duty cycly were the top end 110v
units leave off.
I had a Miller 110v unit and now have a Lincon 220v mig. The Miller was a
great unit BUT the Lincon has beter voltage/amp regulation because of the
duel voltage cycle of 220v.
Again the only draw back to 220 is it's  lack of portability
The 110 unit  units Hobart same as Miller,. Miller and Lincon  work well and
serve many a car Hobbyist.
