Dan,
I would think that was reasonable being both a ragtop & a 409.  I had a new plastic window put in last summer for $150 at a local shop.

Dean,
It is mostly untouched from what I can tell, not sure if the motor is original though. Paint is OK and about 20 years old. The top is decent but needs a new back window (plastic). The asking is 10,500. I have no basis on whether this is a good price or not, there are not any listed on Ebay currently. What do you guys think?? Thanks everyone for all the input so far.

A '63 ragtop with a 409 should be worth some bucks, particularly if it's original.  If it's in decent shape & priced right I wouldn't think you could go wrong.

Fellas,
I have the opportunity to purchase a 63 Impala Convertible. It has a 409 motor in it, and I was wondering if anyone has any information about this motor. Is it reliable, expensive, powerful, a boat anchor, anything at all will help. Thanks all.
