I just bought a used one. The paperwork says for a rear wheel drive to put the rear wheels on the Dolly....but I would think that if the drive shaft was disconnected it wouldn't matter.   In fact the thought of towing a car backwards might freak out some old lady and give her a heart attack thinking she was in the wrong lane.   I'd tow with front wheels on myself.
