I'll have to send this in 2 pieces: Tom, I have LOTS of experience with film cars. First (assuming you actually want to do it), did they actually say that YOU could drive it? Second, is it a messy scene (like somebody getting shot in the head or vomiting, or glass being shattered)? Will anybody be smoking in the car? Can you bring it home at the end of the day or does it need to stay on set? Any high-speed and/or hard-driving action? Is the car going to be "decorated" in any way (made to look dirty, disco balls, etc.)? To even consider it you would need to ask lots of questions, and have them sign a contract to guarantee you certain things.
