How about plating the stock pieces. Might even be cheaper. But I think the main reason the aftermarket pieces seem to leak is that they are made out of a thinner gauge of steel. I know that is the case with the Mr. Gasket valve cover on my Malibu. Maybe a better quality set would use thicker steel???? Take it easy. Dan McIntosh 64 Impala SS 65 Malibu
