Thanks Kent. That's awesome. Are those numbers for the front or rear?

John,

According to my factory assembly manual for 1968 Chevelle and El Camino,
there are wheel well moldings for the 1968 Chevelles. They appear to "end"
right at the point of intersection with the moldings running down the sides.
Making them shorter than the 1969 Chevelle wheel house moldings. I believe
they (the '68 moldings) are a one year only part. Here are the numbers
listed in the assembly manual:

3920149-50 Molding L. & R.H. 13735-45

3920153-4 Molding L. & R.H. 13500-600 13837-67-80

Hope this helps.

I just had a request from a guy looking for wheel well moldings for a 1968
SS Chevelle. He says that the SS moldings are shorter than the non-SS, and
that they only go as far down as the side body moldings. Well, I'm certainly
not an expert on the 68 SS, but I've never heard of any SS-only wheel well
moldings for that year. If anybody has a part number for such moldings, or
can confirm or deny their existence, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
John Nasta
