I
run a regular Castrol GTX 10w30 and my car idles right around 820-850 when
warmed up.

I am FAR from an expert here guys in this subject, but you have me curious... ...what exactly are your rpms at idle?Any chance you are using a very thin oil such as a synthetic at 5W20?Steve
