Vernon,

The parts are the same size, and shape.  These were originally on a Holley 600 vacuum secondary carb. with the single fuel inlet and the side float bowls.  (Do not recall which one was installed in the front and which went in the back)  At the time I changed to the center pivot bowls with dual feed, removed these "plates" that we've been talking about, and added a set of metering blocks with jets.  When you talk to the Holley tech rep, make sure you have the part numbers off the carburator.

Vernon,

Just checked my box of Holley carb parts.   Was unable to find the part number you asked for.  But, did find part # 34R-2007 & 34R-9716.  Call Holley Technical Dept. and ask if either of these plates will work for your application.

Kent, I need the thin flat plate. If you have it that would be great. Please let me know and I will mail you off list. Thanks, Vernon

Vernon,

Do you need a metering block, or the thin flat plate that screws into the body ?  I may just have the thin flat plate in my box of Holley carb parts.  You are welcome to it if that is what you need.

Subject: [Chevelle-List] Holley parts

I hope some one can help me out. I need a secondary metering block plate for a 4160 holley. I tried holley and they say they don't sell to the public so I tried Jegs and they have the part number is in their computer but it says not avaible from holley anymore. The part number is 34r1993.  With out this part the gas in the back bowl drains into the intake when I shut off the car. I'm afraid if this keeps up very long it will wipe out my engine. I bought this used and the plate wasn't in it. Couldn't figure out why gas kept running  in the intake. Looked at an exploded view and there it was. Any ideas? Thanks,Vernon
