Steve, I used stainless for fuel and brakes for my 71SS. They were prebent. I had one leak with the input to the proportioning valve. The line did not line up strait but the nut started so I tightened it down. Like everybody talks about, the stuff does not conform. I had to take the line loose and rebend it to come in strait into the prop valve. All is well now.
I like the look of ss, and that rust is not a problem inside or outside the line. If you are going through all the work of a frame off, the stainless is a good way to go. You have complete access to hook almost everything up, except maybe the feeder line from the master cylinder. Actually, the way to go is put the feeder on the prop valve with the body off and then bend it to get it strait into the master cylinder where you can get at it easier. Good luck.
