My ’98 Grand Prix GTP ran 14.5 @ 95. (on a 40 degree day).  The supercharged cars are plenty strong out of the box.  I think a new s/c pulley and exhaust and chip gets you in the 13s.  It’s just a shame it’s FWD.

 

I like the look of the 97-03 Grand Prixs, but not the Grand Am, and the new GTO is a big styling disappointment to me, although the hardware sure looks good on paper.

Hey guys, the new GXP is in the new car and driver book, It's semi quick, does 15's in the qrt mile.  It's a nice looking car.

I don't remeber the offical details on if the engine for the gxp was gonna be a V8 or supercharged 6, but I do know that it is schedulled to replace the current SSEi supercharged model. I personally love those cars... If I was a family guy I would have one for a family truckster.

Latest word I've heard (through a friend) from Pontiac is that the GXP is
indeed going to replace the Bonneville for 2004 and the engine's a 280 HP
V-8.  Should be a lot of fun.
