Thanks Tim,
  I ordered a set of uppers and lowers from BMR today. I called and talked
to them about clearancing and they told me the same thing. One would think,
knowing what they do about the drivers side upper arm, that they would
change their design.  Oh well I got the black ones so a quick shot of gloss
black spray paint after the grinding and no one will know.
