    If it was reported to the police at the time of the theft.  Check with
that department again to determine if it is still in NCIC (National Crime
Information Center).  If someone attempted to obtain a new title for it,
there should be a "hit" in the vehicle telling the motor vehicle center that
the vehicle is stolen.  Check that out first.
If you can give me the VIN number, maybe I can make a check to see if it was
registered.
