the Unitlite is a good distributor. I had one in my fist '66, as well as a conversion kit for the points in my old GMC. Never had a problem with either.

I think they are just the current trend.  Mallory was the hot setup until Accel came along, now it's MSD.  I have a Mallory Unilite in my 67 Elky (327) and ran an Accel dual-point in my 67 Chevelle for about 13 years (plus every Chevelle I've ever had since 1967) before switching over to an MSD for two reasons, I needed a late model computer ignition for the fuel injection and Chuck made me an offer I couldn't refuse <G>.

Would you say that the MSD stuff is probably a better quality than the pertronix and proform? That would be my guess.
