Doesn't come in email, it comes via the Internet using Remote
Procedure Call (RPC) protocol of late MS products. If you're on the
Internet (and you are by using email), there's a chance it got by your ISP
before it was discovered. If not, you're lucky. The actual number of
computers infected is huge in numbers but very miniscule in the total scheme of
things.
It's getting hyped because of a cryptic message in the code
bashing "Billy Gates" for releasing such buggy software. It's designed as
a denial of service attack against the Microsoft update site. If the
hacker was so concerned, why not submit to MS the vulnerabililty instead of
expoiting it and ruining things for the consumers?
