I sue hope this gets fixed in the next week. I'm driving out to Sierra Vista (an hour Southeast of Tucson), and then to the Phoenix area next week. Does this means that I should make sure I can get to Tucson from Quartzite or something like that?

I lucked out last night. I drove past 4-5 stations with loooooooong
lines (30+ cars from the pump) and finally found one where I pulled up
and was the 5th car from the pump. Still took me 30 min., but I got 30
gallons at $1.88/gal. (My luck is turning around guys!) :)

-----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Chevelle-list] I need gas

Hi all, I was just driving back from Sunday dinner at my wife's family's
house and noticed that I was low on gas....Well I think I just had a
flashback to the mid- 70's because I drove past 16 gas stations and only
two of them had ANY gas. I really don't plan on sitting in line for
ever to get it either....both stations were rationing the gas and there
were at least 30-40 cars waiting at each one....this is at 11:00pm on a
Sunday night! I just checked the news and heard that we won't have the
gas supplies we need for another two weeks. Guess I will be working
from home for a while because my s10 is on fumes and I only have about a
1/2 tank of good stuff in my Chevelle to siphon out. This is crazy.
Stay away from Phoenix and northern Arizona for a while. The broken
pipeline is between us and Tucson to the south. I might be squeezing
the gas out of the sand where it broke soon...... Steve
