Hey, that's right! I just checked my own web site, and it does say that the switches I have here are for 1968, not 1969.

 

Anyway, I'm not convinced that the ignition switch is the problem. Somebody bypassed the neutral safety switch, so they probably screwed up the wiring. I have the neutral safety switch on the way here as we speak.

If memory serves me right 68 uses an ignition switch in the dash (with electrical connections) and 69 uses one in the steering column with no electrical connections connected to a separate switch mounted on top of the steering column with a rod.
