Thin pinstripes were most likely applied at the dealer level or after the fact. Back then it was not uncommon for the dealer to offer pinstriping as an extra-cost option. Back then they even had people painting them by hand. I know a guy who made a whole business out of hand-pinstriping cars.   John Nasta     -----Original Message-----   Trooper, I thought that the stripes on that web. Site are mainly for SS cars I have a Convertible  69 Malibu ( LeMans Blue #71) Before I started restoring the car, there were two thin stripes, but I am not sure this was an original option. any other pictures?
