Hi,   Can anyone set the record right on this,Ive always thought that 1967 chevelles that were a true SS 138car,,,, the dash strip going across the dash was wrinkle paint black,, and if you had a malibu it would have a wood grain dash,,for those that say it was a option, what was the option order number? Im having some people tell me a few slipped through, funny I never saw one that slipped through, I purchased one brand new in 67 and it didnt have one slip through  and I sure saw a hell of a lot of them in the tri state area of Indiana, Ohio, and Mich., never once, now Im seeing cars for sale that have the wood grain dash and they say it came that way, I think they put a 138 cowl tag on the fire wall, that they got from a junk yard , and are trying  to make a few extra bucks on some dumb ass that dosent know any better       Well how about it   anybody  know for sure?????
