Graham,

You should have used silicone on the ones protruding into the water
channels.

I'm not en expert on torque settings by any means so I cant answer that
Q but I know that the water will creep along the threads.

I also use the supplied grease (ARP bolts or studs) under the washers
and nuts or under the heads of the bolts because that will mess up the
torque settings if you don’t. on old bolts I use the nearest box of
grease around (I don’t think that’s 100% correct to do)

Ciao :o)

No, I actually didn't use silicon. Do I need to? Wouldn't that mess up
the
torque settings?
I didn't read anywhere when I put the heads on that I needed to.

Um.

-Graham.

Did you have silicone on the head bolts/studs that protrude into the
water
channels ? not that this would cause the water to run out but normally,
but
who knows ??

Depending on the gasket, they may or may not require retorquing after a
time
but in either case, there shouldn't be any leaking. Could be the head
bolts
weren't torque properly originally or possibly sitting with only air
temp
warming and cooling, they may have loosened up.
