Holy [EMAIL PROTECTED], someone is actually going to Sierra Vista AZ? Either you are visiting the military base (Fort Huachuca - don't ask me how to pronounce it - something like "wa choo ka") or you are a birdwatcher? My mother-in-law moved there a couple of years ago which is the only reason I have ever heard of the place. My wife and I really wonder why she moved so far away from "civilization" considering she is getting up there in years. We've been out there twice and did not really explore too much. The city is going through some growth as there were some malls and restaurants going up. It is mostly a military town with out too much excitement.
There might be a race track nearby, and those military types often do like their cars (or 4x4 trucks), so you might be able to find something. I remember one junkyard, though... Kartchner Caverns is supposed to be really cool. My daughter is still too young so we have not done it yet, but it sounds cool: http://www.pr.state.az.us/Parks/parkhtml/kartchner.html There are some ghost towns in the area, and Tombstone is not too far off either, although I was not all that impressed by it.
