Ok.. I realize there's no real application, but it'd be kinda cool if you make one drive a blender, or turn a spit on a girll or *something*.. even if the website had a WAV file of what it sounded like..
I remember seeing a video a few years ago about some guy who built a complete, functioning, drivable scale model Ferrari, complete with working engine, drivetrain, etc. I want to say it took the guy 20 or 30 years to make. Did anyone else ever see this? -Dave -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Fruhauf Kerry A SSgt 3 CS/SCBS Sent: Monday, March 01, 2004 1:01 PM To: The Chevelle Mailing List Subject: RE: [Chevelle-list] Little engines They do actually run, but they are for entertainment purposes only, to my knowledge. I don't think there is an actual application for them. The way I see it, they must be a rich mans toy. I sure wish I was rich, 'cuz I'd like to have one! :) SARGE -----Original Message----- From: Dave Studly [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, March 01, 2004 8:25 AM To: The Chevelle Mailing List Subject: RE: [Chevelle-list] Little engines Do these actually start and run? I mean, for that kind of money, it better be more than a static model! -Dave -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Fruhauf Kerry A SSgt 3 CS/SCBS Sent: Monday, March 01, 2004 11:59 AM To: The Chevelle Mailing List Subject: RE: [Chevelle-list] Little engines I was amazed. Decided I'd look into getting one, just for fun, then I discovered that It'd be cheaper to buy a real BB, and turn it into a prostock. Those mini motors run in the high thousands. I found an Aurora for around $10,000, complete. I could build one hell of a motor for my Chevelle for that money! http://www.replicaengines.com/products/aurora.htm SARGE -----Original Message----- From: Tigergutt [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Sunday, February 29, 2004 11:41 AM To: 'The Chevelle Mailing List' Subject: RE: [Chevelle-list] Little engines Wow that is cool, What about a small roadster with a blown engine on the back of the elky??
