Hi,

Can someone please save me, I miss the march 2004 issue of super Chevy
and they doesn’t answer when I ask them to resend it.

Anyone out having it laying around and willing to sell it to me so I can
regain my complete collection.

Thanks !

Full Revs!!!

Does anyone have directions on changing your own windshield on a 64
Chevelle Convertible? I picked up a new windshield at a swap meet for
$99 but all the glass companies want more than that just to install it.

Bodies from 64/67. There are some new one's that are better than others.
If you can find a PPG or US made windshield buy that one. I just
installed one in my 64 Tempest, same as your's, and it came from China.
Was a little thinner than stock and it already needs replacement from a
rock ding on the Power Tour. The US made one might have cracked as well,
but I will be looking for one made in the USA this time around. I remove
and install my own and paid $125. for this one. $175. is a fair price,
but you may want to ask where it was manufactured.

was getting discouraged as most said they could not get a windshield for
my '65 Hardtop. I finally got a guy that was willing to give more
effort than just saying NO. I told him to be gentle as this was a NON
insurance windshield (believe me, it makes a difference if you say
this). He quoted me $175 installed, but would take a week to get it in.
I told him the car is a couple of months from driving, so that wasn't an
issue. I just wanted to pass this on, I thought it was a good deal
considering the one in my Crown Victoria was about $600, and they still
MAKE this car, unlike my '65.
