I'm a bit confused because of the difference between what my old owner's manual says and the way they mark tires today.
Regarding Load Range B, C, or D -- my tires say nothing about load range. What they do say is "Max load 850 Kg (1874 lbs) at 240 KP (35 psi) max pressure". Also, the owner's manual refers to a TPC Spec Number, for example 1001. My tires have no such thing on them, but they do say DOT HYHH EW5 480. Is that the new version? I've got to get some new tires because some psychopath stabbed one of mine the other night. A good tire, too, with only about 13,000 miles on it. DK
