glad I could help,
 on my 68 I have four H-4 low beams and four high beams  I know that its illegal to run four low beams but you should consider them if you drive in the dark, the 5" lights our cars are far from modern lights

for the low beams a rule of thumb is:
 
park the car 10meter (30ft) from a wall at night (with the lights on :o), measure the height of the lights put a mark on the wall at 9/10 of that height, then adjust them until the top of the light beam is right at the mark.
