Yes Mike I did realize it was you after you had passed. I recognized Jim coming up in my rear view, then I recognized Herb in the PU. He had his video camera out of the window tapping us. That Cutlass that was behind me was a friend of mine. That is one nice looking Tempest, sorry I could not get a closer look at it after reading so much about it here in the Chevelle Net. I had talked to Jim at the stop and he told me that Herb and yourself had just left to go the Hotel, sorry I missed y'all there. I don't blame you from leaving early as that was some rain that fell there for a while. After the hardest rain had stopped I tried to dry it off a couple of times but every time I tried it would start barely sprinkling again so I gave up. I was also looking forward to seeing Herb's Elky again and get a couple of shots of it when Jim told me he was in the Joe Gibbs pickup. After the stop was over I tried to remember the Hotel Jim told me where y'all were staying but the CRS (can't remember sh**) kicked in. We drove around a while trying to find some other people just cruzin' but found no one. Hope everything went OK the rest of the trip with no issues. I started thinking about the last stop that was planned and looking at "Arlene" heading in that direction, that is one thing that all the participants did not need is more rain after B'ham.     John L.
