What? Nobody on this list should let carbon build up in their motors. Get on it! If not - there must an additive for the fuel system that will remove carbon.

Hi guys. I have a 350 that is still factory original ('87), and was built to run on 87 octane and has for years. Lately, it has pinged and rattled a lot and I tried 93 octane and that really made a difference. My question is what has happened (worn out?) to cause the need for the extra octane?
 Any ideas?

Thanks, Brian
