In the early 80's the 68-72 Chevelle's were the car of choice due to the rules and the class I ran in on our local asphalt tracks, I went through my fair share of decent bodies which now I am not proud of. I remember my best one was a 68, rust-free southern car but to my defense it didn't have a title. When I destroyed the sheet metal, I skinned another 72 outer shell and made it work on the 68.

Kills me this is a little off the subject on the off the subject subject, but just a mere 7 years ago people couldn't hardly give that body style away, I even made a dirt tracker out of a nice 72 (nice, not perfect, no interior, no engine, no title, you know just nice old car). Oh well thats what time does I guess...... Josh Campbell 66SS396 Total basketcase!! I'm not sure of the price yet, Somewhere between $7000.000 - $9000.00 The car is in pretty good shape. The Question is, I have a 454 that I would like to put in it if I get it. Will this engine drop in using the same motor mounts? And what other mods will I have to do? Even If the price is $9000.00 is that an OK deal for a good 1970 Camaro? I know that would be a steel on a SS Chevelle, But I don't know much about Camaros, Other than the 69 Z. Thanks for any info ahead of time....Dennis Be a better Heartthrob.
