Hi Pete, Longer manifold or head bolts at front and rear will work. New crate engines come with lifting tabs that bolt to holes on the front of the head on driver side and back of the head on passenger side. Pulling engine and trans together is the best way and the tilt mechanism makes it much easier. Good luck, Dennis McGillis 1965 Malibu SS-350

I've only done a V-8 once! I think I used two intake manifold bolt holes but thought I'd ask. Is it worth buying an engine tilter? Thanks. Pete
