Thanks for the replies,
Rick, what ball joints did you use to mate the b-body spindles to the Chevelle control arms? Also, how did you do your braking setup? Did you use any of the Caprice components? I'm starting from a manual drum/drum setup, so I'll need to swap out everything.

I really appreciate everyone's input.

Shawn you will hear many nay-sayers about the "Tall Spindle" conversion. And for someone looking for the ultimate in handling it may not be the latest & greatest. But it works for me. I have spindles from a 96 Caprice Wagon in my Elky & the braking is MUCH improved. The spindle change dropped my front end just over 1 inch also.

The Roadmaster may have a 5 inch wheel bolt pattern as compared to the chevelles 4 3/4 inch. But that can be addressed or you can use 5inch wheels on the front.

Everything from the Roadmaster will work on the Chevelle except the rear axle. It will not bolt up to the Chevelle trailing arms, different angles. The front spindles are easy, you just need to get a special ball joint that fits the chevelle lower control arm and the B body spindle. Do a search in the Team Chevelle tech archives as this topic has been covered many times.
