[Chevelle-list] quarter window chrome replacements

  Hello everyone,
 
  I just bought some new chrome quarter window replacement pieces for my 65 
Chevelle.  They looked to be exact replacements but they are longer that the 
stock pieces.  I checked other vendors web sites and they have a footnote 
saying they would need to be trimmed to fit.  Has anyone had the experience of 
doing this cut to fit on this type of part?  I could use some help.
