I myself take considerable pride in not only being a non-state actor but also an anti-state one

The problem with D Raja and Chidambaram is that they are neither the natives of Chhattisgarh nor they lived there ever, otherwise they would have advocated Salwa Judum to save Bastar.

Thanks to Zardari for his speech on Mumbai aftermath, now our leaders got three more words 'Non-state actors' to add to their vocabulary and use it for the Salwa Judum activists. I wonder how the Maoists, ULFA goons and LTTE men operating in Tamil Nadu in the guise of politicians have not been dubbed as non-state actors. Are the Salwa Judum activists more dangerous than Ajmal and likes, Naxalites, ULFA goons or the LTTE men who assassinated former PM Rajiv Gandhi? Who actually is a non-state actor- a Naxal or a Salwa Judum activist? Was the people's support to Salwa Judum with the victory of 11 BJP
MLAs out of 12 from Bastar in the recently concluded assembly elections taken into account before speaking in the biggest Panchayat of the country?

Isn't the Congress once again trying to promote terrorism just for the sake of petty political gain as it did by scrapping POTA and then bringing amendments in the laws to make it as draconian as POTA only after the loss of innocent lives in the Mumbai terror attack?

Chidambaram and Raja should know that they were the people who at first opposed POTA and now working in the same direction to make the law look more cruel than POTA.

there is something called the trilateral commission which is a very dangerous capitalist grouping in the usa which controls a lot of what is going on in the world. here is the link to a video interview of the historian webster tarpley where he talks about how the trilateral commission has worked hard to get victory for obama. a lot of what tarpley says can be taken with a pinch of salt but nevertheless he is thought provoking -

Actually the spectrum scam, in sheer volume of cash involved, is the baap of all scams in independent India. It is devoid of the complications of the previous scams, no fudgy tamasha this time. This is in-your-face brazen loot. A precious national resource was sold off to middlemen at a fraction of its original price. The real state firms and tata teleservices have been the major gainer in the entire scam.

Rs. 55,000,000,000, 000 is a lot of money to go to a few corporates (and a few ministers of course). The telecom minister, with suspected complicity of the PM and ex-FM, has created overnight billionaires of a few men. If I am reading the zeroes correctly, the amount is more than the entire expenditure of Chhattisgarh state govt since its formation.

`Anoop

As long as it costs on an average Rs 50 lakhs to win an assembly seat ( the
latest statistic in madhya pradesh) scams will be the order of the day. obama
too spent 500 million dollars to win his presidency and so there too there will
be scams

The spectrum controversy as regards the 2G-spectrum allocation in
the beginning of this year has got mired in controversy is well
known to us all. That the Telecom Minister A Raja along with others
seem seriously involved and implicated in this has been alleged by
many. But overruling and brushing aside all these allegations as
rubbish, Raja moves around confidently because his mentor and DMK
leader M Karunanidhi is standing fully with him. Like a true
politician, who always has the knack of finding any possible
scapegoat, Karunanidhi has found the Caste of his minister as his
greatest armour. "People can't tolerate the rise of a humble
Dalit",
he says and that is the end of it. As if being Dalit, being Muslim,
being Brahmin, being Yadav, being Tamil, being Punjabi, being
Assaamese or any other
such brand is a licence to commit all follies
and then fall back upon these for rescue.
But a few very important facts related to some of the personal
financial and professional involvements of Raja have emerged lately
which clearly point to the direct involvement of this first-time
minister. But will all this help in yielding justice? Or will this
case also fall on the back burner to remain cozily placed for years
together, to be used and dumped as per the suitability of the
political requirements.
