Marilyn, do your gates swing open or do you just climb over them? How did you make them? Kat Yorkiemom wrote:   We have 3 little ones, 2 Yorkies and a long-haired Chi. We put up gates between the kitchen and the carpeted areas of the house. We also put pads down on the linoleum floors and it seemed to work. They are used to the kitchen area and we never have any more accidents on the carpet, which is a blessing since we have dark brown carpet..LOL.. The gates we have are made from metal grate shelving bought at Home Depot.
