Hi! Welcome to the group and to chihuahuas...lol. I'm Lacey and have
one chi, Fifi (18 month old smooth coat). I think Parker is getting
plenty of exercise with his walk and yard time. Most chis (that I
know) don't even go for a daily walk, not that it will hurt him.
Just watch him for signs that he's had enough. I take Fifi for a
walk about once a week, and it's very short. That's a good thing
about chis, they don't require much exercise. Just running around
the yard or even in the house is enough. Any dog toys should be fine
for him. Fifi loves stuffed toys that squeak. Good luck with your
new fellow. Chis are very loyal and loving dogs. You'll really enjoy
having him. ~Lacey :o)
