Bill, I don't think your Tico could have possibly found a better home. :) I clicked on his doggy profile and read about how you found him...for sale to tourists! Yipes! lol. I like the picture of him standing with one foot up - inside a house I think - it is as the bottom of his profile page. A very portrait like pose, I think :)
As for Chi's being attached to people - my friend's father has one that would follow the father through heck or high water, any time, anywhere. I think if she were big enough, she'd probably try to save him from a burning building if that ever came up. She's nice to other people. She especially seemed to like me. But, no one, no where will EVER replace the extreme devotion she has to her daddy. It didn't hurt that he rescued her at about a year old from living on the street in a rural community - she's grateful even after 13-14 years. She's the dog that made me notice Chihuahua's in the first place. Neat little animal.
