I don't think any Dog really NEEDS to wear clothes.
If Chihuahuas were so sensitive as a breed I doubt they would still be
around.
However, I do dress Bunny up to satisfy MY need to want to
baby her. She indulges me but I wouldn't say she ever went and got her dress and
told me she needed it. That would be totally cool if she did :).
I like to think that I am keeping her warm but I honestly
know that she is completely capable of keeping her self warm. However if I
was taking her out of the desert I would pack clothes for her as she is
acclimated to dry heat not wet cold air, ya know.
