I said I was switching from Maxximum Nutrition to Bil Jac which seems
awful high quality to me at $25 a bag and vaccuum packed, fresh meat
and all that.
I find it humorous that people go so overboard on the "good food-bad
food" thing when long ago I had a Great Dane that was just
GORGEOUS...no fat, great muscle tone, shiny coat. A vet I was just
using to get rabies shots from as I gave him his other shots myself
commented on how beautiful he was and not overweight like so many she
saw and asked what food he was on. At the time, my now ex husband
would have never ever spent a ton of money on food so we either
bought a big bag of high protein food from the feed supply store for
$7 or we bought Petsmart's brand. Makes me wonder about all this so
called "high quality" food.

I would also suggest a high quality can food and a tablespoon morning
and night. It sounds like he has Coccidia and a severe case at
that. Honey is good, Nutrical is better. Always make sure they are
eating, if they do not like the food you offer, mix it with boiled
chicken then slowly remove the boiled chicken until all they are
eating is the kibble. These little ones CANNOT go without food. If
they are not eating, find something they will eat. Nutrical also
stimulates them to want to eat but do not give to much of it you can
end up with the runs with will dehydrate your pup.
