One major thing left out that is neccessary to be well informed on rather
you are a breeder or just have a chi is the low sugar issue (for the life
of me I STILL can't spell that word!! lol) You are off to a good start,
but the main thing before anyone undertakes to breed a chi should be to do
a LOT of research. Also, I strongly recommend actually being owned by a
chi for several years first, and meeting with other chi teams ect. Get
involved with the chi community to learn all the chi quirks before you
even consider breeding. There is a vast amount of info to be learned
simply by joing groups such as this and actually talking to other people
about their chis. You learn what is normal in a chi and what isn't. You
learn what is unique to a chi, ect. Naturally there will often be
conflicting info/advice, which is why you should not be limited to one
source of info.
