Not so. Bigger breeds take longer to reach their full size than smaller breeds do. A bigger breed can continue growing as long as two years while smaller breeds tend to reach their adult size around 10 to 12 months. a one year old chi is pretty much grown...a one year old St. Bernard probably will get quiet a bit bigger...
