Dawn will remove them but it won't kill the eggs or the live ones that jump on the dog. Here in the south our fleas are pretty much year around so the prevention goes on all our animals every month. I hate fleas with a passion and once they get in your house it is so hard to get rid of them Sheila

Our large dog gets the monthly treatment put between his shoulder blades. I thought that might be too harsh for a Chi so I didn't get him any. Last Summer he got fleas on just one walk outing.
