But, my understanding is that the breed is prone to serious back
injuries. I hope that isn't that case here. Aspirine in NOT safe. Do NOT
give. For now, I would use a hot compress and keep her as still and calm
as possible. and try not to be upset with your neighbors...sounds like
they do care...I mean after all, they have kept that baby healthy for a
long time....sometimes finances do keep us from doing what we truly want
to do. No matter how much they may WANT to get ER help, if they can't
they can't, simple as that....so try not to be upset with them,,,,they
are probably hurting enough as it is. I hope Mare has some good Doxie
specific advice......
