Do the cats like to watch the bird? My friend had to move her bird to
another room because her cats liked to sit and watch it all the time and it was

starting to get stressed out. How about the dog? Its nice when all the
species get along.

When we first brought Ginger home, I did some research on the internet. The
ancient Aztec had a small dog that was worshipped as a deity of the Sun God.
This is very likely the xolo that others have referred to. Our Chihuahuas are
more than likely offspring from the xolo that was revered by the Aztec.
I live in a rural section of Imperial County in California ; I wake and look
out over the Salton Sea every morning. The porch is fenced in and the so is
the back courtyard. Ginger and the feral cat rescues have the run of the
fenced in areas. Annubis and Blaze are the two older cats; Twisty, the breech
birth and Cleopatra are Blaze’s kittens. Crystal came from Ohio with my then
fiancé. Galileo was a birthday present to my wife from Angel, our oldest
daughter.
There are centipedes, millipedes, stinky beetles glass spiders and
scorpions, all of which have various defensive mechanisms that could cause,
among
other things, like drooling in cats a and dogs if mouthed. Many frogs and
toads
have secretions that taste bad to predators, again causing drooling. The
predators learn to NOT attempt to eat the offensive creature. That is why
there
are two other butterflies that mimic the Monarch which most birds eat only
once.
I’ve rambled. Included are pictures of my menagerie, which is why my wife
lovingly calls me “Beast Master”.
if we want to solve the spamming problem, then we could moderate the group.
it would some serious effort by one or several people who have an intimate
working knowledge of all of the regulars to the group. They’d all have to
post,
something short, and be moderated into the group. After that there'd be no
problem with regulars posting whenever they want. New members and spammers
would have to be allowed into the group as new members. Spammers would be
removed by a moderator. Owners can be moderators, but moderators need not be
owners
 of a group.
