What a very nice menagerie!!

I live in the country semi-rural area of Martinez in the Bay Area of CA.
We are zoned for horses - but 8 dogs and 2 birds is enough for now...lol 5
Chihuahua's, 2 of them Monday -Friday are my grand Chi's. Missie and Turbo.
Luna, Jazz and Coconut. 2 Doberman's Faye and Zena and Kendo the 127 lb Akita.

I love cats too...but with the pooches - they already feast their eyes on the
abundance of Squirrels, Rats, wild Turkey's, Quail, Skunks, Lizards and Coyotes
-
There are rattle snakes behind our home, and we saw a Tarantula (big one, and
hairy) walk across the front yard last week. The dogs wouldn't mess with it,
because once they got close, it stood up on it's hind legs!

Yea, there are spammers that come into the group - I didn't like the Porn
junk!!! - but that's what happens when there are online groups...there are
people who sit 24/7 that like to hack and send stupid stuff... However, we are
all pretty protective of each other in this group.

About the Xolo dog - there is a Dedicated Breeders Club. They are accepted and
recognized into (not sure) something like the AKC?? They come is 3 sizes,
Lg-Med-Sm - I saw one in the "Ugliest Dog Contest" on Animal Planet channel
yesterday!Gloria C I will say of the Lord, HE is myRefuge and my Fortress, my
God; on HIM ...I lean, rely and (confidently) trust! Psalm 91:2

When we first brought Ginger home, I did some research on the internet. The
ancient Aztec had a small dog that was worshipped as a deity of the Sun God.
This is very likely the xolo that others have referred to. Our Chihuahuas are
more than likely offspring from the xolo that was revered by the Aztec.
I live in a rural section of Imperial County in California ; I wake and look
out over the Salton Sea every morning. The porch is fenced in and the so is the
back courtyard. Ginger and the feral cat rescues have the run of the fenced in
areas. Annubis and Blaze are the two older cats; Twisty, the breech birth and
Cleopatra are Blaze’s kittens. Crystal came from Ohio with my then fiancé.
Galileo was a birthday present to my wife from Angel, our oldest daughter.
There are centipedes, millipedes, stinky beetles glass spiders and scorpions,
all of which have various defensive mechanisms that could cause, among other
things, like drooling in cats a and dogs if mouthed. Many frogs and toads have
secretions that taste bad to predators, again causing drooling. The predators
learn to NOT attempt to eat the offensive creature. That is why there are two
other butterflies that mimic the Monarch which most birds eat only once.
I’ve rambled. Included are pictures of my menagerie, which is why my wife
lovingly calls me “Beast Master”.
if we want to solve the spamming problem, then we could moderate the group. it
would some serious effort by one or several people who have an intimate working
knowledge of all of the regulars to the group. They’d all have to post,
something short, and be moderated into the group. After that there'd be no
problem with regulars posting whenever they want. New members and spammers
would have to be allowed into the group as new members. Spammers would be
removed by a moderator. Owners can be moderators, but moderators need not be
owners of a group.
Blessed Be, John Kariotis
