I recommend having her fixed. I have been looking for a tiny Chihuahua and
have searched many breeder's sites and rescue sites and I am amazed at the
thousands upon thousands of Chihuahuas available. A friend tells me that its
mind boggling when you guesstimate those numbers and then add the numbers of
dogs euthanised each month.

I would get her fixed (my opinion) If you watch what they eat they
shouldn't gain weight.

I live on the eastern shore of Va and I can't find a male for my
female. Even though she is going through her first heat. My husband
wants me to get her fixed but I still don't know. My mother thinks that
since she is almost 9 months old, small and only about 3.5 lbs thats
she is going to be to small to have puppies. I really don't know about
getting a her fixed cuz i heard that they gain some weight. So what
should I do!!!
