You are not supposed to breed a Chihuahua under 5 lbs. Chihuahua's have some complications when giving birth and anything under this weight doubles those. Please, I recommend fixing her. I know you want puppies from her but take it from me I lost my Chihuahua to her second litter and she was 6 lbs. I don't want you to go through what I did, of trying to grieve your best friend plus trying to take care of puppies if any survive.

I recommend having her fixed. I have been looking for a tiny Chihuahua and have searched many breeder's sites and rescue sites and I am amazed at the thousands upon thousands of Chihuahuas available. A friend tells me that its mind boggling when you guesstimate those numbers and then add the numbers of dogs euthanised each month. Gloria P In a message dated 11/16/2008 5:18:08 P.M. To: [email protected] Date: Sunday, November 16, 2008, 2:36 PM I live on the eastern shore of Va and I can't find a male for my female. Even though she is going through her first heat. My husband wants me to get her fixed but I still don't know. My mother thinks that since she is almost 9 months old, small and only about 3.5 lbs thats she is going to be to small to have puppies. I really don't know about getting a her fixed cuz i heard that they gain some weight. So what should I do!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get the Moviefone Toolbar. Showtimes, theaters, movie news more!
