I was at the pet store this morning with my three little ones... this lady came over and was all ohhhh and ahhhh over them, then asked what breed they where. Of course I replied Chihuahuas. She kept arguing with me about it saying they are too big to be chihuahuas, that chihuahuas can't be over 5 lbs. Don't get me wrong... all of my little ones are larger chihuahuas. Chip is 7.2lbs, Dale is 10.5lbs... he is over weight and Gidget (my new little girl) is 7.9lbs. I know both Dale and Gidget have a little bit of weight on them they could lose but I don't think either of them would be or look health under 5lbs. Both of them are on a diet weight now so we are working to loss some of the extra weight. When Dale got fixed he went from 7lbs to 12lbs, so far he has lost a couple of lbs. Chip on the other hand looks skinny at 7.2lbs. I am wrong that it is normal for chihuahua to weight that much. Venus
