I'd have to find the nearest hotel, I am not a camper.

Here, the Four Seasons Hotel is probably the most expensive in town.

There are a few places.... That allow pets! There a four season hotel that
doesn't have a fee or resrict how many pets you can bring... And I think
it's near the strip...

Shanna...anyone...? Has anyone looked into a venue in Las Vegas for a
possible meet-up? Shanna did you say your husband works for one of the hotels
there? After the holiday season is usually a good time for Vegas
deals...things slow down some in late winter if I remember correctly... Maybe
Feb or
March might be a nice month to try to plan for??? Or should we wait till
weather may be nicer...more towards April or May? Once we get a count of how
many are really interested we should know how many rooms we would need. Here
are some things for us to be thinking about:

1. What month? Winter...spring??
2. How long...2 nights? 3 nights?
3. How would we feel about doubling up/splitting rooms to lower expenses
4. Searching out dog parks or fenced grassy areas for the dogs to play and
us to be able to picnic.
5. Searching out dog friendly restaraunts, fun doggie boutiques/barkeries
to visit, etc
6. Whats on our agenda when we meet...fund raising for rescues? shelters?
Dogs in need?
7. Maybe we could all think of something to "bring" to share...how to make
something...how to do something...maybe a project we could all make or do
for our dogs?
8. Adding in a "Clothing swap" where we might bring outfits or toys our
guys grew out of or don't like...to swap.
9.OBviously finding a hotel that allows dogs...there just has to be
some...I know the Hampton Inn usually does...so we just need to do a search
for
"Dog Friendly hotels in Vegas".
10. Maybe one night we could have a birthday party for all the dogs that
would have a birthday in 2011...which would be everyone LOL!!!!
Anyway...lets be thinking about this....should I or someone make up a
"interest form" so we could get an idea of what we would all like to do and
when? Who could come when? A map of where we all live that we might travel
together or help each other get to Vegas??
Let's start brain storming and really make this happen!!!! Sure would be
fun and we might actually get something accomplished too...if we can make a
plan.
