I think the discussion about service dogs came up when people started talking about putting service dog vests on their chis and someone had asked about registering their dog as a companion animal.

I know that since I have a service dog I have had people come up to me asking me if she is a real service dog as she is so full of energy that she can be a bit hyper at times or they think that just because she is a small dog that she cant be a service dog. You can read up on the laws, basically if you take them they have to be able to sit when you command, lay down on command and in restraunts if you take them big dogs have to lay on the ground and little dogs can sit beside you if they behave...there are other rules to but I am not sure what all they are.
