Get him a heated dog bed, they are wonderful and I found a place on line where they are half the price of the pets store. They turn off when they get out and never get over 101 - My girls love thiers so much! Nancy If you want the website let me know.

He has a very nice plush bed, his doggie sleeping bag, fleece blankets, then his bed is set inside a carboard box that the front is open.
