Welcome. How nice of you to take in the Chihuahua, you're going to fall in love. I too was a poodle person, my husband and I always had poodles during our 45 years of married life. Then, my husband died unexpectedly, and months later, our (his really) little 13 year old poodle died. I waited a year and then decided, I didn't want to have to go to the groomer's anymore and would look for another kind of small dog. Did some research and decided a Chihuahua would be low maintenance, so that"s what I got. He is the love of my life. The sneezing is common in many Chis but the swollen eye lid might require a trip to the vet. Good luck. Post some photos of all of your dogs, we love photos. Gloria
