OMG!! You're scaring me.. however, it is kennel cough because she caught it 
from my rescue boy. Before that, she was PERFECTLY healthy! :*(
Also, when I took her in, he listened and didn't hear any fluid in her lungs.

I agree with Peggy, My last dog had what I thought was kennel cough and it was 
congestive heart failure.  The lungs fill with fluid and they cough. They have 
lots of great meds for congestive heart failure.  The trick is to check and 
find 
it early. The vet can usually hear the fluid in the lungs this a stethoscope.
